History of the artwork
Redouté's famous botanical paintings were was published in Paris in early XIX century and were dedicated to the Princesses Louise and Marie d'Orléans. Original prints are very rare and can only appear on high-level auctions. Several reprints were made throughout the centuries using different designs, papers and printing techniques. Our editions add stylish graphic elements to the Redouté artwork in a unique and stylish design that can only be seen - and ordered - on this website.
